About MPEA
The Ministry of People Empowerment and Elder Affairs (MPEA) is the central Government tasked with delivery of a range of critical social services intended to improve the lives of the vulnerable citizens in Barbados.
This is achieved through the delivery of targeted social policies, programmes and services that are people centred and focused on empowering lives while enhancing livelihoods.

The delivery of exemplary social protection policies, programmes and services that are more people centred, leading to the empowerment of persons for the reduction of poverty and vulnerability.
